MA Applied Social Studies
This is a one year full-time, or two year part-time academic progression programme for students who hold the HDCYW, or the DCYW and BA Applied Social Studies, and who also have post qualifying professional experience. In exceptional circumstances graduates from equivalent programmes, who are engaged in community or youth work will be considered. To facilitate students the programme is delivered in two/three day blocks at NUIM every four to six weeks. The MA Applied Social Studies offers a unique opportunity for experienced practitioners to deepen their professional knowledge and academic analysis, as well as to contribute through their research and essays to the discourse of our disciplines.
